Applications are being accepted from qualified applicants for 450 positions listed as “Assistant-2023” at the Reserve Bank of India, also known as “Bank.” A two-phase national competitive exam, consisting of a preliminary and main exam, will be used to choose candidates for the position. This will be followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Please be aware that any corrections to the above advertisement, if any, will only be published on the Bank’s website (www.rbi.org.in

Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the advertised posts. Bank would admit to the Examination all the candidates applying for the post with the requisite fee/intimation charges (wherever applicable) based on the information furnished in the ONLINE application and shall determine their eligibility only at the final stage i.e., document verification.

If at any stage, it is found that any information furnished in the ONLINE application is false/ incorrect or if according to the Bank, the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post, his/ her candidature will be cancelled. Such candidates can be removed from Bank’s services without notice if he / she has already joined the Bank.

 Pay Scale:

Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹20,700/- per month in the scale of ₹20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) – 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 (1) – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Assistant will be approximately ₹47,849/

Age Limit:
minimum 20 years – maximum 28years
For SC ST candidates – 05 years
For OBC candidates – 03 years
Age relaxation of 10 years has been given for disabled candidates

Application Fee: SC ST Handicapped Soldier Candidates Rs. 50/- For General, OBC, EWS, candidates Rs. 450/- Candidates who apply should pay the application fee online

Selection Process: Applicants will be chosen following a preliminary exam, a major exam, a language proficiency test, and an interview.
